How to Enable Javascript

Please follow the instructions for your browser below.

If the instructions below do not work, try accessing the settings for your device.

Google Chrome

For The PC

  1. Click the Customize and control Google Chrome (the 3 horizontal lines) located to the right of the address bar.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Near the bottom of the page, click Show advanced settings.
  4. Under Privacy, select the Content settings button.
  5. Under JavaScript, select the Allow all sites to run JavaScript radio button.

For The Mac

  1. Click the Chrome menu item from the Apple/System bar at the top of the screen.
  2. Select Preferences.
  3. Select Settings.
  4. At the bottom of the page, click Show advanced settings.
  5. Under Privacy, select the Content settings button.
  6. Under the JavaScript heading, select the Allow all sites to run JavaScript radio button.

Mozilla Firefox

For The PC

  1. In the Tools menu, select Options.
  2. Select the Content icon/tab at the top on the window.
  3. Check the Enable JavaScript checkbox under the Web Content category.
  4. Click OK.

For The Mac

  1. Find the Firefox menu from the Apple/System bar at the top of the screen.
  2. Select Preferences
  3. Clickthe Content icon/tab at the top.
  4. Check the Enable JavaScript checkbox.
  5. Close the window to save.

*** If installed, the Firefox extension “NoScript” may prevent Javascript from working.
To fix this please click on the “NoScript” icon located either in the top browser toolbar
or the status bar located at the bottom of your browser window and select “Allow NameClout”
Internet Explorer

  1. In the Tools drop-down menu, select Internet Options.
  2. Click the Security tab.
  3. Select the earth (Internet) icon.
  4. Select the Custom button.
  5. Find Scripting near the bottom.
  6. Under Active Scripting, select Enable, then hit OK.
  7. Answer yes to the confirmation box.
  8. Click OK to close Internet Options.

Apple”s Safari Browser

For The PC

  1. In the Edit menu at the top, select Preferences
  2. Select the Security icon/tab.
  3. Check the Enable JavaScript checkbox.
  4. Close the window to save.

For The Mac

  1. Select the Safari menu item from the Apple/System bar at the top.
  2. Select Preferences.
  3. Select the Security icon/tab at the top.
  4. Check the Enable JavaScript checkbox under Web content.
  5. Close the window to save.

Opera Browser

For the PC

  1. In the Tools menu at the top, select Preferences.
  2. Click the Advanced tab at the top.
  3. Select the Content on the left-side of the window.
  4. Check the Enable JavaScript checkbox.
  5. Click OK to save and close the window.

For the MAC

  1. Select the Safari menu from the Apple/System bar at the top.
  2. Select Preferences.
  3. Select the Content icon/tab at the top.
  4. Check the Enable JavaScript checkbox.
  5. Click OK to save your changes.

Iphone And Ipad

  1. Select the Settings application/icon on the iPhone home screen.
  2. Select Safari.
  3. Scroll down to the JavaScript item
  4. Switch JavaScript to the On position.

Android

  1. Open the web browser.
  2. Select Menu.
  3. Select More Settings.
  4. Enable JavaScript.

For other types of phones and tablets please find the settings for your particular device and change the browser settings to allow Javascript.

You should also be aware that upgrading your browser or installing security software can affect your browser’s JavaScript settings.

If you still have problems viewing the NameClout site, check to see if you have any personal firewall or security software that could be blocking the site.
